Processing of plastics available as granulate, powder or plastification and mixing of rubber or raw rubber Table rolling mills or also laboratory rolling mills are used during the process of blending or plastification of test materials. These systems are roller systems with basically two rolls. The rolls will rotate against each other and this at a specific speed, causing the effect of friction and thus blending of the test material. Table rolling mills of our make have a roller diameter of 80 mm and besides that are equipped with fixed friction and a proper table structure. Table rolling mills are used for different applications and may be used at parallel running of the rolls also for polishing or lamination. In the simplest case the rolls can b e operated in cold condition or, on request, they will b e equipped for heating. Heating but also cooling of the rolls may be provided for. At the processing of plastics, temperatures up to 250 °C are paramount. At the processing of rubber a cooling of the rolls will be paramount. The cooling effect will be obtained by a cooling water feed. The cooling water will be fed through peripheral ducts in the rolls The following characteristics are highlighted below: Characteristics, including:
- Variable speed by integrated potentiometer
- Manual gap setting from front – right and left side
- Automatic daily electronic brake angle control according to the relevant regulations
- Strong drive motor with a drive power of 2.2 kW, already suitable for resistant masses up to 300 g
- Special safety technology and in particular sufficient access protection above the dangerous roller gap
- Tipping operation for reversing the rolls by 10 angle degrees each per tipping
