Strong laboratory press/hot press as stand-alone model for a great many of tasks: These laboratory press type, compared to our 200 models, has been specially designed as stand-alone press with enlarged working area and with an increased compression force level. It is also equipped with an “intelligent” hydraulics. The compression force cylinder is bigger than at the 200 models, and a special internal steam cooling feature has been provided. This machine type is characterized among other things by the following features:
- Heating, cooling of the plates is possible
- Machine operated completely by PLC
- Pressing program operation via different pressure/time phases as complete and individually configurable pressing program
- Pressing program can be predefined via OP3 control panel or via touch screen
- Pressing program also can be predefined via an external computer input feature
- Temperature ramps operation possible by temperature/time definitions in a pressing program
- Cooling ramp operation possible with a programmable and state dependant cooling behaviour, Individual cooling ramps can be programmed.
- Precision of pressure maintained within a range of less than 1 % of full scale value (“FS” = Full Scale)
- Onboard conversion of the compression forces to the specific surface pressure by taking into account the sample size via touch screen
- Preselectable hysteresis of the pressure requirements for individual precision adjustments
- Various general parameter settings, such as operating hours counter or standby time
- A simple timer operation can be thought of for simple requirements
- Protective/pressing plates on request of an anticorrosive and hardened special steel, e.g., at aggressive sample materials
- Pressure overshoots at swelling or expandable sample materials will be acknowledged and automatically adapted
- Computer connection to an external computer by LAN or WLAN for access to the machine as well as analogue data display
- Protective door and protective hood above the pressing unit are basically included in our machinery design
- EN 289 will be complied with nearly completely at the potential exclusive laboratory application
